Release and Ignite 2021

A Full Moon Yoga and Breathwork Retreat

With Diane Ghogomu

Retreat description

If you’ve been looking for a transformative way to start off 2021, you’ve landed at the perfect experience.  Join us for four nights of exquisite breath and beauty at the beachside Watamu Treehouse whose award-winning sparkling waters, emerald forests and panoramic views never fail to astound.

Take the weekend to manifest your deepest intentions with a Peruvian cacao ceremony under the full moon, rediscover your voice with sacred harp and guitar song circles, float down the magical mangroves, savor picturesque vegan meals on the private beach, while still allowing ample time to meditate, journal, and bask in the utterly gorgeous surroundings of Watamu Treehouse.

You’ll rediscover both balance and flow with our daily yoga and breathwork practices, taught by experienced and innovative teachers.

Joanne and Diane collectively have decades of international experience in holding space for life-changing metamorphoses of the mind, body, and soul while Watamu Treehouse has been repeatedly recognized as one of the most unique experiences that you can find in Kenya. This retreat is for anyone who wants to rest, rejuvenate, release, and reignite their passions and dreams under the light of the full moon. Don’t miss out!

Meet your teacher…

Diane has spent the last decade inflow around the globe, making sacred sounds and experiences alongside her plant and spirit allies. After following her academic research of Afro-diasporic traditions to Buenos Aires for the first time in 2007, she has since shared and led community explorations in places as diverse as the coasts of Brazil, the mountains of Argentina, the streets of New Orleans, and the equatorial rainforest of Gabon. Ghogomu has been a yoga instructor for a decade, focusing her practice on an uplifting Kundalini and Vinyasa Flow. Most recently she has found integration in her paths as a somatic sexuality educator, yoga teacher, breath work facilitator, and musician, which inspire her to hold pleasure-centered ritual spaces that encourage the ever-giving gift of knowledge of self.
