We will provide you with just enough knowledge to guide your mind toward your health goals, while allowing your body and heart to experience what true nourishment feels like - through the combination of movement, stillness, slowing down in nature, delicious fresh food and being witnessed in community.

Wellness Weekends are our signature experience for those seeking a mini retreat on the Kenyan Coast. These long weekends only happen on selected dates throughout the year, and include 3 nights on half board, 4 yoga sessions, 2 deeply relaxing massages, a guided nature-based adventure, walks, time to rest, reflect, and connect with community. Each Wellness Weekend is different, led by a different visiting teacher, bringing their unique blend of trainings and experience.

Iโve always been drawn to the things that make life feel alive. To me this consists of connecting people to their Spirit, and to each other. My favourite ways to celebrate this aliveness is through food, music, healing conversations, nature, movement, and stillness. I love learning what makes people light up. Doing what I can to help them soften and drop their tension. And creating experiences that help them get a little closer to who they are underneath the conditioning, the beliefs and the limitations.
My favourite tools for transformation are yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, Nature, singing, and of course, nutritious food. All of these modalities can alter our consciousness and help us wake up to the reality of Divine unity. Underpinning everything is the deep knowing that behind all the things in life, the โnounsโ, there is an intelligent force always moving towards harmony. And connecting to that force, that is the deepest form of nourishment.
Having lived the first half of my life in Kenya, and for many years poured my heart into the creation of Treehouse, very few things bring me as much joy as does guiding people through healing experiences here. So I am delighted to be your facilitator for these three days together.

What is not included in this retreat
Transfers to and from Malindi or Mombasa Airports. Treehouse can arrange the transfers and guests pay the taxis directly .
Alcohol is not included as Treehouse does not sell alcohol, but guests are welcome to keep their own in the guest fridge and consume without charge
Extra yoga, massage, meals and activities not included in the package
Our food
Abundant in flavour, colour, nutrients and freshness. We source our ingredients with care, supporting local producers, and we prepare it with love.
Our dinners are abundant โset-mealsโ and always include a soup or starter, a vegetarian main course, a variety of sides and salads, and a dessert. We serve fresh juice or coconut water and a variety of hot drinks after the meal. We take into account dietary preferences or allergies.
Extra meals or smoothies can be purchased if desired.

Our Activities
The Wellness Weekend package includes one adventure activity. All our adventures are set in nature and designed to enhance the retreat experience and connect with the elements, though they may differ depending on what is possible given the various tides and time of year. Activities might include walks, exploration of the area on kayaks or SUP paddleboards, the Mida Float, and other (gentle) adventures that are guaranteed to be fun and suitable for all levels.
Getting to this yoga retreat
The closest airport is Malindi on the East Coast of Kenya, which is approximately 25 minutes taxi ride from Treehouse. We can arrange transfers. The following airlines fly to Malinda: Jambojet; Fly540; Air Kenya; Fly SAX; Silverstone; Kenya Airways. You can also fly to Mombasa International Airport on the airlines listed above plus Kenya Airways. Mombasa is approximately 2 hours drive from Treehouse. Or take the SGR Train to Mombasa and we can send a taxi to collect you.
